Personally I thought it was waaay too sweet, even after reading the comments and dropping the brown sugar to 1/4c. So if you love super super sweet barbecue, this sauce is for you! Otherwise, I would recommend testing without and then slowly adding the brown sugar until you get to the sweetness you prefer.
Marcia
Loved it. Added a pinch of cayenne and less brown sugar.

Being from NC, I know many variations of sweet BBQ sauce and this is tops. So far, have used it on chicken and pork but plan on trying it on lamb next time. Very easy to make and stores well. I did use Crosbys molasses. I bought some for homemade biscuits. You must try that also. YUM!
Sammy
