Chocolate and Nut Nice Cream

What if we told you that you could make ice cream at home, without milk or cream and without an ice cream maker? This Banana Ice Cream (also knows as Nice Cream) is incredibly easy to make. Perfect for those who are lactose intolerant, as bananas are the main ingredient in this recipe. This gives the creamy side that we love so much in an ice cream. The principle is simple: you just need to freeze thin slices of ripe bananas and add another fruit, chocolate, nuts or any other ingredient before blending in a food processor.

Make delicious vegan ice cream at home with this no-churn ice cream recipe, also know as ”nice cream”. Contains no dairy.  This is a yummy healthy ice cream made with a frozen banana base.

  • 3 ripe bananas, frozen in slices.
  • 2 tablespoon milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon Crosby’s Molasses. (add more if your bananas aren’t quite ripe)
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup mixed nuts


-Mix the bananas, milk, molasses, and chocolate in a food processor until you get a nice creamy texture.
-Add the nuts and start the food processor until they are well incorporated.
-Pour the ice cream into a dish (we used a loaf pan) and put in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
