Ingredients

  • Pastry for 1, 2 crust 9 inch pie
  • 4 cups diced rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup Fancy Molasses

Instructions

  1. Prepare 1 pastry-lined pie plate. Place the rhubarb into the plate. Mix the dry ingredients and place them on the rhubarb. Beat together the egg and milk and pour over the pie. Drizzle the molasses over the pie.
  2. Cover pie with pastry, prick and cook at 400°F for 20 minutes, then at 375°F for 40 minutes.
