I’m Bridget Oland, the unofficial company cook here at Crosby Molasses. By day I’m the marketing manager and recipe developer. By night I’m a busy mom who’s working hard to raise kids who appreciate good food.
We created this recipe site to make it simpler for molasses lovers to access a variety of delicious recipes that make the most of the natural goodness, versatility and tangy-sweet flavour of molasses.
Everything I post here is at least “triple” tested (my son, daughter and husband all gave it two thumbs up.) Most recipes have also made the rounds among family, friends and colleagues. Food is meant to be shared after all, so recipe testing is a pleasure. And since many of the recipes have been given to me by family and friends you know that they’ve already earned bragging rights in other households.
We love heaping plates of feedback around here and I hope you’ll feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and honest opinions about everything you read (and would like to read) on our recipe blog. We love to hear about your family’s favourite recipes too. In fact, some of my favourite recipes on this blog were contributed by our readers.
