Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup room temperature butter
  • 1/2 cup Crosby’s Maple + Molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (we used dark chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1.  Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and Maple + Molasses using a wooden spoon until well blended. Add the egg and vanilla, whisking again until fully incorporated.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients, including chocolate chips, and mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  4. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the cookie dough into 10 large balls, placing them at least 2 inches apart on the prepared pan.
  5. .Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cookies are golden around the edges and still slightly soft in the middle.
  6. Allow the cookies to cool on a cooling rack and enjoy!
  7. Store at room temperature for up to 5 days.
