Chili Molasses Sweet Potato Wedges Recipe

Chili molasses sweet potato wedges are oven-baked and have a sweet-spicy kick.Great as an appetizer for dipping or as a vegetable side dish.


  •  4 medium sweet potatoes cut into wedges


  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Crosby’s Fancy Molasses
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. dried chipotle peppers (or more if you like heat)


  1. Combine coating ingredients and toss with the sweet potato wedges (you might have to use your hands to coat the wedges evenly) .
  2. Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400 F for 20-30 minutes, turning at least once.
  3. Serve hot, sprinkled with a bit of salt.
