Shoo Fly Pie
Ingredients:
- 1¼ cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup butter
- ¾ cup Crosby’s Fancy Molasses
- ¾ cup cold water
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 9″ unbaked pie crust
Directions:
- Sift together dry ingredients and cut in butter as for pie crust. Stir in molasses, water and baking soda, and pour mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake 15 minutes at 425°F and 35 to 40 minutes at 350°F.
