As an Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role on the Crosby’s Maintenance team.  In this position, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance activities that continuously improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.  You will perform activities that ensure Crosby’s production facilities meet all regulatory requirements.  You will draw upon your previous experience and education to recommend process improvements, enhance the company’s Preventative Maintenance program, and design and install new equipment additions/modifications.  You will also have an opportunity to help plan and execute capital projects.

This position is a full-time, permanent role with the potential for future career growth for the right candidate.  Though shifts may change in the future, we are currently operating day (Monday to Thursday: 7 AM to 5:30 PM), and night (Monday to Thursday: 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM) shifts.


You are a team player and self-starter who takes pride in your work. As our ideal candidate, you have several years of experience as a mechanic in a production setting and possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) ticket. Additional tickets in the areas of machinist, pipefitter, power engineering, and/or welding are definite assets. You have excellent mechanical and electrical abilities and are known for your troubleshooting skills.  You have a proven safety track record and are experienced with a variety of accepted safety best practices. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and quality systems is a definite asset.  Food manufacturing experience is preferred. The ability to be flexible and a willingness to work on day, night and some weekend shifts is required.
