Ingredients:

  • egg whites, room temperature
  • 15 ml white sugar
  • 15 ml Fancy Molasses
  • ¼ tsp vinegar

Directions:

  1. Start to beat egg whites. When they are foamy add the sugar slowly and then add the molasses. Fold in the vinegar when the batter is stiff.
  2. Take 4 squares of cake. Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the cake. Mound the meringue over the cake and ice cream. Brown quickly under the broiler and serve.
